In the fourth quarter of 2005, Consulting Agency Market Advice Ltd. carried out a research study of the market of ice-cream in order to study situation with sales of ice-cream by manufacturing enterprises during 2003-2004. The study included 2 stages: (a) desktop study and (b) expert survey of chiefs of sales departments and marketing experts of the manufacturing enterprises. Thus, at the first stage, information was collected from open sources with further analysis of secondary data on the market, and then profound telephone interviewing with partially set framework was performed with seven enterprises.
